Indemnification
Indemnification by course of the law Nr. 435/2004, § 81 is a way of meeting statutory duty. It is suitable for companies with more than 25 employees. Due to the law, at least 4% of their employees must be handicapped persons.
Companies that do not meet this statutory duty by employing enough handicapped people must compensate it either by tax-paying or by purchasing goods from those firms that employ handicapped persons – this is the so called indemnification.
